A closed terrarium runs its own small weather. Watch one day inside the glass.
Morning: light warms the soil
Moisture in the substrate and leaves rises as vapour.
Afternoon: the glass fogs
Vapour meets the cooler glass and gathers into droplets.
Evening: it rains
Drops run back down to the moss and roots, and the cycle starts again.
